Welcome Sajith to the world of bloggers...

Been reading some of the blogs for a pretty long time and the moment i see some interesting or funny things, would always think of writing, but one hell of a looby person I am bachpan se. Mom would always say "kabh sudhrega thu.. get out of the bed and get the cattle out to the meadows for grazing aur athe waqt lakdiyan lekar ana chula jhalane ke liye.." and I am like .."huh! kya maa..thode dher aur sotha tho I would have married that princess I just saw in my dreams and we wont ever have problems of me taking out the cattle for grazing or chule ke liye lakdiyan". Now I am from Bombay so don’t believe me about the cattle grazing and the chula thing, and me from a normal okay dokey well to do family where we have one fan in every room of our apartment, TV in the living room with 30 channels and might have seen this grazing thing in some stupid sunday movie in the DD channel hence jotted it down.

Lots of work in my office and was dozing off as usual after having a huge amount of rotis and sabjis (Lunch is for 15 Rs unlimited) that would have made kumbhakaran out of complex jump from the helicopter or some volitant machines to make sure that he dies. To save myself from being embarrassed when I get up from a cozy nice siesta and see people around me taking snaps of me to show it off to my project manager and get me sacked from SAS Global services in Pune where I have been loyally serving this institute for the past 4 months (effectively..hmm...2 weeks might be with sat and sundays not counted) I decided to start with my first blog and for my to be born kid who will rejoice some day and say..."papa yeh aapka blog hai?". "Han Beta..mera pehla blog.." and see with my corner eyes whether my collars are raised...pat will come the reply..."kya papa...muzhe sharam athi hai bolne mein ki my teacher showed it off to everybody and said this is an eg. of the worst writing ever in the history of human race...so be careful kids".

I am not married and the kid thing obviously is a distant story...sachi, meine abh thak koi paap nahi kiya.. mein tho abh 23 years ka acha bacha hun. Now I am not the nerdy kinds just because I am a software engineer, its just sheer luck that i got into Accenture, Mumbai 2 years ago, 2 years and 4 months to be precise and thab se I have been using the expensive hours of the corporate world to doze off. My friends say... sajith ko kaise mila job, mystery that will never be solved for many light-years to come. Some say...uska naam tho lucky kumar hona chaiye. I say...sach mein...beats me too..."papa..change my name".

Hey bidu! Paida hua apun mumbai mein aur dhek bal bhi udhrich, kya bolthe woh angreji mein...han born and brought up. Then shifted to Pune for my grads and post grads, reason(to my parents): “Mom, Dad, I want to be a software engineer mein kuch bankar dhikaoonga (full fimi style) and practically it not possible for me to get into a good college with these stupid grades”. Sach bolo tho...(still with the stupid grades) wanted to experience the hostel life and learn how to wash clothes and hang out till midnight with no tension of your parents waiting eagerly for you at home with a 'kaisa beta paida hua mereko' look on their face. But rather we did have a ' kaise ladke hai is hostel mein' 24/7 look on the face of our rector, but who cares, we had a non barbed wire wall surrounding our hostel and could easily jump over it and tip toe to our room and get up in the morning to hear our rector's super sonic shout "Who are those guys who came late yesterday, I could not see their faces but I want them in my office". But its still a record that nobody has ever been in his office for such an offence, lekin yeh parampara chaltha rahega. He has to do his duty and we ours.

Nostalgia! College days were good(unless you dont attend them) with your pyara papa sending money every month just at the cost of a phone call and senti sentences like "kya beta, karcha kam karo, behan ki shadi hona hai, kerosene khareedhna hai, ghar chalana hai, second hand fan lena hai, poorani fan shahid ho gaya after 40 years of service". Ok...me goin too far, the truth is my dad always uses the "Dont say anything, let him learn his own way" policy so never used to pester me for such things and always used to grant me that freedom and me as usual is a acha bacha who thinks about every penny that is earned and wish from the bottom of my heart that my kid will be a acha bacha who will value his dad's hard earned money and not be like his papa.

The curious fatso to my left just peeped in to see what has he been typing so much and not napping as usual, but ALT+TAB (a wonderful thing invented by microsoft or whoever it is) to the rescue coupled with my quick reflexes and he couldnt believe his drop dead ugly eyes to see me working on some programs and with a long sigh went back to his desk with a grim face just because he could not use his camera to click the "dozed off sajith" and his shattered dreams of me holding a "We find this as a pleasurable moment to inform you that you have been just sacked from this institute..blah..blah..." letter.

Hence I will stop here and get back to my work before that guy discovers the truth and I should at least dedicate 15 minutes out of my 8 hours for work (sach bolo tho I have a 7:15 PM ka office bus to catch).

btw, for those who havnt yet understood who is that extra terrestrial creature in the pic above, thats me.

2 Jabs:
